I am a senior scientific researcher specializing in marine biology. For over 14 years, I have been carrying out research and monitoring of benthic fauna on the Romanian coast of the Black Sea. I have published 20 ISI papers and over 15 papers published in wide national and international bases (SCOPUS, etc.). I am involved in over 30 national and international projects and over 10 contracts that have as objects of activity, the monitoring of water quality status through the study of benthic fauna, citizen science through meetings with stakeholders at the local, regional and national level discussing the concept of blue growth, educational activities for primary, secondary and high school students regarding the protection of the environment, especially the seas and oceans. Co-coordinator of the bachelor's, master's and doctoral theses of the students who carry out their research activities within our institute.
