We have a rich profile in conducting impactful research on 'climate resilience' of the built environment, with a strong focus on impact assessment of climate change on buildings and energy systems, energy transition, human comfort/health in urban areas, and sustainable urban solutions. We are (and have been) developing/conducting EU proposals/projects around the idea of developing and testing 'nature based and climate solutions' for multi-sectorial infrastructures. We have developed pioneering approaches (physics-based and data-driven) to connect future climate models to engineering models.
