I am a pollination biologist. I study plant-pollinator interactions in natural systems and agroecosystems describing patterns of these interactions and the pollinators' role for plant reproduction. I work in the field and in synthesis projects seeking to demonstrate the importance of pollination as an ecosystem service to ensure food production and the need to conserve pollinators in natural environments through ecological restoration and sustainable agricultural practices.
