Hahn-Schickard in Villingen-Schwenningen is a renowned
institution with extensive expertise in various domains, including analytics, microfluidics, embedded
hardware, and packaging technology. The "Analytic Systems" group, led by Mohamed Bourouah, has
been at the forefront of numerous projects focused on parameter acquisition of precipitation water.
One notable project, the I4S project (https://www.bonares.de/i4s ), showcased Hahn-Schickard's
ingenuity in designing an electromechanical soil extraction system and a sensor platform for in-line
determination of soil nutrients (NPK, Mg, Ca)´, pH and EC. Another remarkable endeavor, the SensVert project
(https://www.hswt.de/forschung/projekt/1528-sensvert ) , focused on developing an automated system
for demand-based fertilization in hydroponics. Drawing from these experiences, the "Analytic
Systems" group brings expertise in sensor integration, data fusion, embedded systems, microfluidics,
mechatronics, and mechanical design for hydroponic automation.
