I have experience in the study of insect diversity, and in the study of changes in the composition of insect fauna under impact of climate change. Changes in phenology of insects under the impact of global warming are one of the directions of research. I have an experience in work with material of scientific collections of natural history museums testify to changes in the phenology of insects. Long-term data on shifts in development cycles may indicate an increase in average temperatures in different regions.
Other scientific direction is biological invasions, especially of insects. In recent years, there has been a tendency for an increasing number of invasive species to enter Europe in general, and in certain countries/regions in particular. New invasions are an indicator of climate change too. In addition, invasive species are a threat to local biota and have a negative impact on ecosystem services.
