In response to the BiodivERsA+ joint call for research proposals on “Improved Transnational Monitoring of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Change for Science and Society” (BiodivMon), we are seeking a research Partner to collaborate with in a project that covers all three research themes. The project we are writing seeks to better understand and categorise the cross-boundary African elephant movement properties in risky environments especially with the rising cases of human-elephant conflict occassioned by the prolonged drought conditions in recent years, and work towards developing a system of categorising risk and locating risk-areas for better coordinated transnational biodiversity monitoring.

We are seeking a Partner who is eligible to submit a proposal, as well as will bring insight, viable skillset and actively collaborate with us in this endeavor.
