Spatial planning and urban development
The hybrid territory can be understood as a space that allows rural and urban social relations and spatialization to take place. In this sense, there is an overlap between what can be identified as a rural way of life over a geographic spatiality called urban. With this, another socio-spatial dimension is configured. About the specific objectives, the following stand out: i) the debate on the hybrid territory category, revealing the social and spatial articulations that materialize in the district community; ii) study the historical aspects that allowed the hybrid configuration of the community; iii) analyze the relationships between rural and urban, and finally, iv) evaluate the degree of rurality and urbanity of the district community under study.
