I am interested in issues of territorial planning and development in Morocco. I am currently working on the issues of specification, qualification of local products, heritage and tourism development in the areas of the margin in southern Morocco. I have published works on territorial planning and development. I have directed numerous research programs at the national and international level on the themes of "tourism and cultural environment", "referents of South African, French and Moroccan territorial recompositions", "challenge of marginality, territorial identities and tourism in the Moroccan and Nigerian mountains", "Poverty and tourism", "Local products", "Migration and local development", "Tourism and regionalization", "Vegetation in the Maghrebian colonial cities", "Biosphere reserves and development of research-training".
