I am a full Professor working on the parasites of wild and cultured fishes for more than 25 years. I have been studying on all kind of fish parasites including myxozoans, ciliophorans, arthropoda, etc. and I have published more than 120 articles and presentations as well as 3 books. I have also expertise on parasite biology, and electron microscopy of fish parasites.

I hope to find partners to work on the parasite fauna of invasive fishes that have entered the Mediterranean Sea and either settled or moved toward Turkish coastal areas. Our project to be created together will provide us with detailed data to observe the current status of such invasions throughout 3 year period of surveillance.
