We are Austria's biggest Environmental NGO and as such have an excellent network to many stakeholders in Austria and beyond. We have expertise in applied and transdiciplinary research - especially in the field of agriculture (pesticides, carbon farming, biodiversity friendly farming, food supply chains), citizen science (bees, butterflies, littering), science communication, science - society interface, awareness raising, environmental education. We run Austrian and Europe wide campaigns.
We are involved in the Austrian biodiversity commission and as such in the drafting of Austria's Biodiversity strategy.

In the call "Improved transnational monitoring of biodiversity and ecosystem change for science and society” we could contribute with our experience in citizen science approaches. We would be highly interested to support projects that improve the monitoring of success towards national biodiversity targets as we think that there is much need for improvement here. We have experience in the development of indicator-based systems in agriculture.
