SOGRAPE farms more 1600+ ha of vineyards in 5 countries (Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Chile and New Zealand). We have prior experience with EU projects having participated in EUPORIAS, MED-GOLD, i-GRAPE and NOVATERRA. We have in-house R&D, 100+ ha of experimental vineyards and use integrated production with a deep commitment to biodiversity conservation. The projects we are searching for would have a focus on addressing commercial agriculture as systems management, specifically in the field of viticulture. We are mostly interested in approaches of agroecology, holobiont or hologenome but also in more specialized approaches such as functional biodiversity or sustainable water usage. The project should provide direct inputs for management strategies and decision-making. Projects comprehensively focusing the value chain in a perspective from sustainable production to responsible consumption, will be prioritized.
