Our expertise lies in the design and development of digital systems and tools that support 'practices', including preliminary research such as the ethnographic investigation of a practice context (e.g. the work of soil scientists or foresters) and the subsequent development of digital tools, as well as the study of the use and appropriation of the designed systems.

We are looking to join projects aiming to address and support the various specific practices of biodiversity monitoring or subsequent biodiversity protection actions. This could, for example, mean studying the practices of professional or citizen scientists involved in monitoring specific species and developing digital tools that support these practices, or the development of tools that make use of available biodiversity data to support and improve measures to protect biodiversity.
