Ramón y Cajal MEC Excellence Program, between 1997 and 2006 and MEC Scholar (2 years Scholarship Postdoctoral at Unit of AquaticBiochemistry of Stirling University (Scotland, UK). Coordinator of the Research Grous of the ULL, NUTRAHLIPIDS (https://portalciencia.ull.es/grupos/6273/detalle), and AQUAFISMAR (IEO/ULL; http://aquafis.webs.ull.es/) focusing her main activities on aquaculture lipid nutrition and fatty acid metabolism in fish and cephalopods, including the metabolic monitoring of radioactively labeled fatty acids in isolated cells and in live larvae; the application of biotechnology in the search for biomarkers to assess the impact of climate change on marine organisms, and oil by land-based or seaweed alternatives for the sustainability of aquaculture and the importance of omega-3 fatty acids in animal and human health and nutrition. h-index , 25 Research gate, more than 70 publications in JCR (70% in Q1), member of 28 research projects and contracts in public competitive calls, PI of 10 of them, including two European subprojects (FP7 and Interreg-MAC) and three projects of the National Plan. 40 months of national and international research and teaching stays.
