AVIPE is a grapevine growers' association which works with more than 4000Ha of 350 farmers. Besides technical support on pest and disease management, nutrition and irrigation, AVIPE has a demo farm where develops trials and new practices to show to farmers. Besides trials with cover crops, we have planted 2 ecological corridors between vineyards and functional buffers to promote beneficial insects and help on control of pests.
AVIPE is also involved in the protection of the Portugueses' grapevine varieties project.
AVIPE is involved in 4 European projects.

We would be interest on the assessment of biodiversity according to agriculture practices and how can we find new solutions to improve it. We be also be interest in the development of new solutions for biocontrol on pests and dieases.
