The Environmental Protection Inspectorate (EPI) is a governmental authority, under the Environmental Ministry of the Republic of Moldova. The mission of the institution is to prevention and control of environmental contravention. The mission of the institution is to implement environmental policies (adaptation to climate change, afforestation, etc.) in the environmental protection and rational use of natural resources. One of domains of competencies is environmental conservation and protection biodiversity by investigating environmental crimes on the flora and fauna.
