My expertise / skills : Keywords: Extreme events, biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, coastal ecosystems, ecological restoration, multiple stressors, plastic pollution, biogeochemistry, aquaculture environmental interactions, invasive species

Our team has experience on:
- The effects of climate change on biological communities and biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. We perform innovative experimental designs to test the effects of different types of extreme events due to climate change under scenarios of multiple environmental stressors. We do environmental integrated assessment under an ecosystem based approach.
- Ecological restoration based on circular economy.
- Coastal biogeochemistry.
- Pollution:
- Organic pollution
- Eutrophication
- Plastic pollution

Areas of research: Mainly coastal (intertidal and subtidal) but also terrestrial.

Experimental approaches: Mainly manipulative, laboratory micro- and mesocosms and in situ.

Added value: Experience on project participation and expert evaluators on H2020.
